![]() Accounts in Toontown Offline work quite differently than in Toontown Online. The game can be played by yourself, whether you have an internet connection or not. Offline Mode is the default way to play Toontown Offline. If you do, come back, if you don't, don't. In the end, it all boils down to you enjoying the game. Hopefully this will help you make the decision of whether or not to come back to Toontown. After all, anyone who knows what maturity really means would know that maturity has nothing to do with the games one plays, but rather the attitude one takes towards things. If another person comes and tells you you're too old to play something like Toontown, it is they that are the immature ones. ![]() Things can't be immature (unless they're fruit, but that's a different case), it is, in fact, people who are immature. Obviously this would show a big level of immaturity as by that age you are supposed to already have learned how to act according to what you have learned in life by that stage.įinally, I think that, even if other people think that something is immature, you shouldn't think that way. It is not like being too old to act like a kid at your age ("almost of legal age"). In which of these could you be "too mature" in order for you to not have to play TT? Social? Emotional? I personally don't see any where you could be too mature for the game. Maturity means many, many different things, as there are different types of maturity. Secondly, the fact that you say that you're "too mature for this", shows that you're not truly as mature as you think (I don't mean any offense with this, please keep reading). The only one immature is the people who say that, as they are the ones who immediately label a game as a kid's game, probably without having even played it. It's just that since people see it is cartoony and it involves throwing gags at robots that that immediately makes it an "immature" game. For example, some people have told me that I shouldn't be playing Toontown because it's a "kid's game", however, who's exactly to say what makes a kid's game just that? If you find it fun, and you enjoy it, you should play it, regardless of your age. I think we need to look at what, exactly, it means to be "too old for something". I'm a young adult, go to college, and yet I still play Toontown. Like many people have said, you're not too old to play Toontown. Can someone help me get in Nutty River so when I start playing I can pick up where I left off way back when? Would it be a good idea to reset my laptop back to factory settings (meaning wiping it clean) so I can get less lag?Ģ. The memory used up on my computer is 162/216 GB. ToonTown seems to be running kinda slow on my laptop (Dell Inspiron 15). Am I? Is there anyone else here around my age or older? I'm scared I'm going to get addicted and it's gonna take away from my other responsibilities, so how do you handle being on ToonTown while managing other things?Īlso, while I started this thread, I might as well ask a couple of other questions on my mind (sorry! haha).ġ. However, I can't help thinking that I'm too mature for this since I'm almost a legal adult. I'm thinking about signing back up to help me get through summer. It just seems like it's relaxing and would help me get my mind off of stressful things. Now that summer has come along and I've been pretty bored, I wanted to do something to preoccupy me. This was probably a little less than two years ago. I don't know exactly why, but I just stopped playing. I would play all the time and I got my highest toon up to 126 laff points. Hey, I haven't really posted here in a loooong time.
